Job Description:
The Senior Career Management Consultant, Executive Services provides coaching and advanced transitional career support to outplacement candidates and groups at the senior leader and executive level.
Results & Strategy
Assigned to Career Management projects (typically 12 months) to provide end-to-end support to senior level candidates engaged in outplacement programs. Apply deep expertise of industry and marketplace in determining an approach to best prepare candidates for transition. Monitor participation and progress against plans. Identify and apply high-value and aligned Right Management resources and activities (i.e. webinars, trainings) which will expedite readiness to re-enter job market. Source market connections, recruiter/key networking contacts and job leads to enable faster landings.
Partners with sales team in go to market strategies and RFP preparation to further move Right Management's position as an industry leader. Participate in business reviews as a Career Management subject matter expert.
Client & Candidate
Provide targeted and valuable one-on-one coaching to prepare candidates in making a career transition. Optimize the time available for candidate engagement by adeptly assessing an individual's career aspirations, and support in setting appropriate and achievable goals. Consult on potential career pathways and opportunities based on interest, experience, and expertise. Support candidates in personal assessment, networking, interviewing and negotiating to facilitate an effective transition. Facilitate individual and group workshops on a diverse career and development topics targeted to senior/executives, including compensation, entrepreneurship and board membership.
As necessary, establish on-site presence upon introduction of outplacement program and build rapport with client and candidates, as well as provide instruction and encouragement to take full advantage of offerings. Develop and lead executive level forums on Career Management Solutions: Career Decision, Career Development and Career Mobility.
Thought Leadership
Embed ManpowerGroup thought leadership into ongoing coaching (i.e. the Skills Revolution, learnability) and looked to for World of Work expertise. Maintain brand awareness and trusted advisor status by consistently sharing workforce solutions expertise and dialogue through various platforms.
• 10 years as a career consultant or related experience, with demonstrated ability to influence and coach a senior leadership audience
• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge or experience in outplacement programs, recruiting/hiring tactics and trends
Nice to Have
• Education: Advanced degree
• Coaching certification(s)
• Experience working with outplacement programs
