The  Field Services
Manager
reports to the Plant Manager and is primarily responsible for leading the safe, compliant, and reliable maintenance and field services operations for the site, as well as improve construction, project, maintenance, stores and T/A practices to increase reliability and efficiency of operations.  Specific expectations and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
As a member of the Site Leadership Team, ensure the safe operations of the manufacturing unit in accordance with the MBM Guiding Principles and the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Risk Management Profile Effectively lead and manage a leadership team consisting of the Maintenance Manager, Capital Projects Manager, T/A Leader, Contractor Manager and Stores Management in all aspects of safety compliance, operating excellence, and maintenance/reliability best practices
Establish clear performance expectations, monitor, and provide continuous feedback to promote team / individual development and growth

Provide field services leadership to develop strategies to achieve continuous performance improvements in Maintenance, Capital Project Execution, Stores and T/A.  These strategies include EHS, Compliance, Reliability, Efficiency and Capital Effectiveness with accountability for performance
Support the development and execution of economic driven site “5-year bet” strategies incorporating innovation and continuous improvement that leverages site capabilities resulting in sustaining value creation for the business
Quickly assess performance or capability gaps and take corrective action
Maintain awareness of procedures, work practices, equipment availability, risks and potential interrupters in all production areas with strategies to minimize downtime
Identify and correct unsafe conditions and acts; recognize positive safety performance as well as individual and team contributions to a safer workplace
Apply Market Based Management to get better results. Mentor the organization to apply Market Based Management based thinking
Employ positive, strong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills in working with various levels of the organization. (engineers, supervisors, operators, maintenance, and contractors)
Effectively communicate progress, plans and issues with site operations leadership and the commercial business team as required
Effectively communicate work process issues that are, or will, potentially affect the production areas
Effectively work with operations, Reliability and process technical teams to improve maintenance and operations performance and practices
Actively support meeting daily goals through good analysis, critical thinking skills and resource allocation
Organize, prioritize and multi-task while meeting and/or exceeding deadlines
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of science degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing / industrial experience or related military experience
Minimum of 2 years’ leadership experience directing the activities of others in a manufacturing / industrial environment or related military environment
Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and working knowledge of OSHA safety standards
Intermediate skill level in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint including: Creating workbooks & writing formulas with functions in Excel; Procedure documentation and formatting in Word; Creating slides for presentations and project mapping in PowerPoint
What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years’ supervisory experience within a manufacturing / industrial / refining or large continuous chemical plant operations or related military environment leading teams of 20 or more
Experience in (RCA) root cause analysis techniques or other similar problem-solving systems
Experience in Maintenance Program implementation
