Non-medical counseling is supportive in nature and addresses: living conditions; life skills; improving relationships at home and at work; stress management; adjustment issues, such as those related to returning from deployment; marital problems; parenting, fear, grief and loss. Counseling modalities consist of individual, family, couples and groups. MFLCs may be based out of an installation's family center, a National Guard and Reserve Joint Force HQ or other facilities and will provide proactive outreach to service members and their families via walk-around counseling.nnThe Quality Control Manager, is part of a team that provides non-medical counseling which is supportive in nature and addresses: conditions of living; life skills; improving relationships at home and at work; stress management; adjustment issues, such as those related to returning from deployment; marital problems; parenting, and fear, grief and loss. Counseling modalities consist of individual, family, couples and groups. The Counselor provides in person, confidential, nonmedical counseling services that benefit military children.nnThe Quality Control Manager contributes to program success by managing all aspects of quality for the team of Counselors who are based out of or near a military installation, working out of a school, Child Development Center (CDC), camp, Youth and Teen Center, installation family center, National Guard and Reserve Force HQ or other facility. Locations include installations in almost all U.S. states, the District of Columbia, U.S. territories or commonwealth, as well as some foreign locations.nnThe QCM shall be responsible for managing all aspects of quality for the contract, including data collection and reporting. The QCM shall ensure that all of the quality assurance programs, metrics, reports, and data are gathered, managed, and reported within contract standards, and the QCM shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with credentialing and training of all personnel.
